Hot Pot Reading

Dear Parents,

We are starting a new reading program at West Hills. The goal is to get students to form the habit of nightly reading. Each night after your child has read 15 mins. or more, fill out the slip of paper and return it to school. If you child brings back four slips per week, they will be awarded with a hot-pot (hot chocolate)on Friday afternoon. We hope that this will help motivate students to continue to read through the rest of the school year. This is a great way to help your student work on meeting their AR goal by nightly reading. Once they read an AR book at home, they can take the test on it here at school.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Merriman or myself at school.

Thanks
Mrs. Pitner

Banana Splits!

We have been hard at work learning our multiplication facts. These students are enjoying the rewards of their hard work. Our goal is for everyone to earn a banana split by the end of the year!
